Quick-Eze Pocket Pack Giveaway

Nestlé wanted a pocket pack designs to keep Quick-Eze fresh. 3D Hub created half a dozen sketches in conjunction with Periscope Design (graphic design company), which were presented to Nestle and a favourite style was chosen. 

Terminator Base

3D Hub was asked to design a base that meets the customers’ requirements with reduced manufacturing cost.

Quick Hitch

3D Hub was asked to develop a casting based off their very successful fabricated HD240-80. The existing product was already light, functional and well received in the market.

2014 C7 Corvette – Passenger Centre Air Vent

3D Hub was asked if to convert the existing passenger centre air vent for the 2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette converted from LH to RH drive. The challenge was to come up with a solution that looked, felt and behaved the same as the original design.  More →

2014 Chevrolet Silverado – Power Window Panels

3D Hub got involved in the redesign of Power Window Panels for the 2014 Silverado, this required 3D Scanning of the original panels, building cad data, moving the electric switches and controls to the opposite side, mirroring the styling and retaining the mounting.

2 Tonne Tail Lift

3D Hub was asked to design a tail lift with 2 tonne SWL, that could mechanically self-level, be designed around an existing trailer design that had no provisions for a tail lift and meet all New Zealand's Health and Safety standards. 

2014 Chevrolet Silverado – HVAC unit

3D Hub has been involved in developing an opposite hand HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) unit to fit the modified interior of the Chevrolet and GMC trucks.

Series Four Base

3D Hub was asked to design a post driver base specifically for fencing contractors. We conducted interviews with contractors and using our Priority Rocket™ process, were able to determine the unique engineering requirements.

KFC / Carl's Jr. Pack Line

3D Hub was asked to develop a new pack line for KFC / Carl’s Jr. Our involvement consisted of ergonomic considerations, sheet metal manufacturing and all working drawings.  More →

3D Hub has been developing a project for a specialised industrial product.  The cap part has been designed to work in an aggressive environment and has to withstand localised impact.
