Bunce Motor Company converts left hand Chevrolet vehicles to right hand drive for the New Zealand & Australian market.
3D Hub got involved in the redesign of Power Window Panels for the 2014 Silverado, this required 3D Scanning of the original panels, building cad data, moving the electric switches and controls to the opposite side, mirroring the styling and retaining the mounting. All this is combined into a model designed to be 3D printed using selective laser sintering (SLS) to build the raw components. The final part is then sanded and painted to produce a product to the same high standards as the original equipment manufacturer.
